Finally visited the Short North just the other day, it reminded me a little of home (Chi-Town, that is). So many odd people...God, I love odd people. I also danced a little, twas grand. In this little hot spot (well, coulda been hotter), several white (naked and lovely ;) ) mannequins along with some bomb ass djs provided an all too comforting atmosphere for me and my chicas. We jammed to some funky shit... i really wanted a drink though. I mean, don't get me wrong, i'm not the type that needs a drink to have a good time, but ever since i tried that Strawberry Acai Smirnoff, man alcohol has become my deisred accesory. Granted, there isn't much of the good stuff in my fave drink...in fact, if i didnt become a LITTLE BIT tipsy after downing two of em, i could've sworn that drink contains zero alcohol. Sigh, good times.

The other day, i overheard a tidbit of a convo between two elderly women. Right after a father and his two children walked out of the little boutique, one of the ladies started talking of how the little girl was about to enter the 1st grade (or some shit) and how she was growing up o so fast. She also mentioned that while the girl always asked questions and was always wanting to learn, she wasnt very bright haha. She was like 'somethings a little different up there' ...i lold.
