It's about that time...

So, it was bee-u-tiful here in Hyde Park today...unfortunately, i spent most of the day in-doors studying and shit...but, i mean, at least i got some things done. It's about that time when i should really get crackin' on this school biz, seeing how finals are soon approaching *sigh*.  

I haven't really danced in sooo long, and there is this party tonight on woodlawn that looks like its going to be off the chain n shit. over 300 confirmed guests from about 12 colleges in the chicago area...with a real dj...i digress, i suppose there are more important things to do than mingle with drunken butt monkeys...who grind nd grope like there lives depend on it, lol. Not to say i am not included in that group...it's a real challenge...not wanting to rub up too much on a guy you just met while dancin, but trying to dance hard (no pun intended) enough to impress...o the days, when guys and dolls danced modestly...i wonder what that would be like. I mean, i like to get low, but sometimes i just take a sec to look at all my school mates and realize just how fuckin narsty and pathetic we all are. Bumpin n grindin n drinkin n smokin n shit to try and forget about the horrible week we just survived or the one to come...or we do all this for shits n giggles...which is still a lil sad.

I go home a week from tomorrow...so weird. Can't believe ive made it through a whole year @ UChicago...damn, where did all that time go?
